Princeton, NJ

PharmaWrite, LLC, a full-service medical communications company, today announced the hiring of their 2018-2019 Postdoctoral Fellow, Angelli Chua, PharmD.

Dr. Chua will be carrying out her Medical Communications Postdoctoral Fellowship at PharmaWrite, LLC, and MedVal Scientific Information Services, LLC (joint appointment). Her responsibilities at PharmaWrite/MedVal will include competitive surveillance reporting, project management, publication planning, clinical manuscript and regulatory writing, slide deck development, and gap analyses. The academic teaching certification component of the PharmaWrite/MedVal Fellowship gives Dr. Chua the opportunity to serve as an Adjunct Clinical Instructor at the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia, which will allow her to build her teaching skills by presenting lectures, leading discussion groups, precepting students, and developing and presenting CE programs for pharmacists.

Dr. Chua completed the six-year Accelerated PharmD Program at University of the Pacific, where she received her Bachelor of the Arts in Applied Sciences and her Doctorate in Pharmacy. During her graduate studies, she worked part-time in retail pharmacy and pursued an interest in travel health medicine, obtaining a Certificate in Pharmacy-Based Travel Health Services. She chose to pursue a career in the pharmaceutical industry as a way to combine her pharmacy background, interests in writing and communication, and desire to impact patient care on a population level. The Medical Communications Fellowship Program at PharmaWrite/MedVal will provide Dr. Chua an ideal opportunity to gain valuable experience in the realm of medical communications. As a fellow, she will strive to utilize her pharmacy knowledge and writing/communication skills in order to provide accurate and appropriate medical information to healthcare professionals.

Dr. Chua is currently an active member of APhA, ASHP, and IPhO.
